Update 25th September 2011_Sunday

Hello Folks!

There is some good news.

Rishis treatment has started. As mentioned earlier , he has received his first dose. He is home now.
He will be admitted once a week , for 4 weeks , every time he gets another dose of the injection.

The better news is we found doners or rather , the doners found us :)

Wanted to take a moment to let everyone know , that there are kind souls in this world , like angels , who appear from no where . :)

StockTalkers , you'll surely are God sent :) a BIG THANK YOU to each one of you!

Thank you for driving all the way to Pune to personally hand over the money to the family and meeting them. They sure feel blessed.

Below are a few pictures we clicked with them alongwith Rishi , his sister, Rujuta (who is the bone marrow doner) and his father , Mr. Prakash Sarafdar.

  1. its the privilege of we stocktalkers that God is kind to grant us this opportunity to be of service to mankind in our own small way. Rishi, our young warrior brother, received Grace directly from the Lord Almighty, we were just the messengers or mere postmen who came to deliver something Rishi rightfully deserves, besides all the love, care and good wishes.

Anik shah, Viraj Gandhi, Ritesh Gokani and Samar Sarda went to spend precious moments with our brother Rishi and they had this to say :
Anik shah said this Words like HERO, WARRIOR are meant for RISHI...its his desire to live a normal life will make him achieve great success in life...its learning for people like us also...he is fighting and more over a SMILING FACE...A REAL CHAMP...trust me bro don't have words to describe the happiness which my soul got after seeing rishi and his sister...his sister always keep smiling for him...boss what ever u say this is the feeling which am sure one would find when they get lost in BHAKTI...Self motive

Ritesh said..It was gr8 feeling meeting Rishi. He is a silent fighter. I have seen mother running behind der child and forcing thr infant to go to school but first time in my life I show a child asking her mother that pls send me to school can't express few things in words may god save his life and give him best life. His silence was showing his desire to have his normal life back whr he can play with frds, or go to school can't speak much yar

I was blessed with such an opportunity by the team: If I say such feeling are not express able, then it not fair.

There is something about such cases, where God tests them mentally and physically. But at the same time gives them enormous courage to fight the battle.

Rishi, showed us that if you want, you can even fight with God. He was mostly silent and a bit shy; his parents were standing hard for him.

We would have never understood the worth of this money, if we would have not visited Pune personally.

A special mention of his sister, who in such a young age without having any second thought did donate her bone.

To be honest, we are not related to Rishi by blood, but by choice. The choice that we have made to stand with this family and everybody who is fighting hard for the cause.

This amount was a small token, I am sure that everybody who is aware and understands the gravity of this case is praying hard for Rishi.

I was sitting with few friends yesterday night, we were asking each other their happy moments in the past year. I dint even took another second to tell them it was my meeting with Rishi.

To sum it up, Rishi get well soon.

With love, good wishes and our prayers
    Viraj Gandhi

: I actually felt very sad going to the place and see the plight of the family. During my life till now, I have seen the best of fortunes people live in with all happiness and the poorest of the people living in utter plight and still finding happiness. Rishi's grandmother with a belt on her neck and heavy eyes but still smiling when we were there. His mother: I think she's becoming older much earlier than she should. His father only folding his hands, wud never want to see a person doing that for his child. Felt really sad that the family has gone thru so much pain to save their son. I guess his sister doesn't know what she's contributed to her brother and how will that bare on her when she's grown up. God! I feel sad cause I haven't done anything knowing this situation. I pray for him to live recover and make his parents proud one day as they have sacrificed the world for him. Kudos to all contributed, prayed for him. Just imagine- if one industrialist contributes a small v small portion of his wealth, how much that could have helped this boy. Pray for him to get well soon and support his parents faith.
