Update _January 25th 2011

Hello everyone!

Our warrior is winning :) !

His platelet count had gone up to 1.67 lakhs .. He is out of danger .. His hemoglobin is a little low at 9 ... but that the doctors say is nothing to worry about.

He has a little bit of a reaction in his mouth due to medication , which normally happens after such treatment . The doctors have told us to keep a watch on that bit .. and has given mild medication for the same. It should be fine soon , but he has to go back to see the doc next Monday again for the same.

The medication and treatment still continues for a long long time and hence the expense is still very much there.

Thank you each one of you , without whose prayers, our little warrior would not have been where he is today .

Keep the faith! Keep the prayers on!

In Love, Gratitude and Prayers,Always,
Tina

Update _ 10th January 2011

Happy Brand New Year to each one of you!

Apologies on not having written for so long.

Our Lil warrior is doing good, though a week and a half ago he was down with a very slight temperature for which he was admitted in the hospital for 3 days , just to be extra careful so that he does not catch any other infections. Was put on to medication and observation; is back home now, smiling :)
The latest reports look good. His platelet count has been on a gradual rise which the docs say is a great sign. He is recovering very well but has to visit the hospital at least 2ce a week.

There do come spurts of discomfort every now and then but then i guess from what he has gone through earlier , these don't seem that troublesome to him as they do to me when i see him or hear of it.

We definitely need to raise more funds as what we had in reserve is slowly drying up and we definitely will need more to make sure he wins this battle entirely..

We are trying to look for a baalvikas teacher for him and his sister , if anyone in Pune does know of one who is ready to go to their home and take lessons, please do let us know.

I would like to thank our sai brother once again for making it possible to get the medication Rishi needed so urgently . Thank you.

Thank you to all of you , without whom , fighting this battle and being on the way to winning it would not have been possible.

Please do keep Rishi and his family in your prayers..

In love, gratitude and Prayers, always,
Tina
